Hi there, I was hoping someone could give me some advice or insight regarding my situation at the moment.
- Been in Canada for 7 years
- Bachelors and Masters completed
- Working full time at company for 1 year on PGWP
- Started working in Aug 2019
- Work permit expired in July 2020
- Applied for an extension/LMIA based closed work permit months before my PGWP expired
- Created an EE profile to see what CRS score I would get.
- Since Im in implied status waiting for my new permit do I enter "Work permit required no LMIA required" for the 1 year of experience in the work experience section? I had my experience based on my PGWP.
- I was told not to accept any ITA if I apply because I don't have my new closed work permit yet.
- I thought one could apply for EE under implied status?
Any thoughts and insight here? I want to ensure I am not breaking any rules or doing anything wrong.
