Hello, I'm in Canada with a Working holiday visa permit that expires on August 23th. I applied for the Visitor visa on July 22th (30 days before my work permit expires). If CIC doesn't notify me anithing before August 23th can I keep working? Would I be granted of the implied status? Thanks, have a good day.

No - you can't keep working. You have implied status until a decision in your visitor visa is made. However this implied status only allows you to remain in Canada as a visitor - it doesn't allow you to keep working. You must stop working as soon as your IEC expires.

Thank you for answering. And with the implied status am I still be able to travel in the USA? Are there any papers that I can show to USA border testifying I'm on a implied status? Nothing has been sent to me yet. Thanks
