Implied status - how familiar are employers with this?

What type of work permit did you have? Many open work permits do not benefit from implied status.28january said:

Ya, I figured if it comes down to me and another person, why would they choose someone who could potentially be out of status (knock on wood). It sucks because I have nothing on paper that says I have implied status and am actually able to work legally here.
But if there's a chance, maybe i'll go for it and look for another job... Thanks guys.
