implied status, can I work?

Hi, my employer has filed an lmo for me, I am waiting for an answer on that. Am i allowed to work as I am on implied status??? and can I be on payroll????

Implied Status only counts if you're renewing the exact same type of work permit for the same employer.

yes, i have sent the application for same position with the same employer and it has already been 15 weeks that my employer filed for LMO. I continued working gor my employer for few weeks but I wasn't on pay roll so my employer owes me my pay for the hours i worked for. but i havent heard anything about lmo even after more than 4 mnths. so I am kind of worried now

LMO application did not give you implied status. Implied status is after your sent your WP application before expiry date.
