Guys please let me know if i found Inadmissible to Canada for a minor mistake and received a 5 year ban.
I wanted to know if apply for Australian student visa for my higher studies (PHD) will this lead to rejection? Or whats the impact on the ban?
Really appreciate your help.

Yes, this will likely show up when you apply for PR in Australia. I'm not sure about study visa though.

Alright, let me be clear. I had a visa rejection in 2012 and i mistakenly marked "no", so i got a mail to justify the fact for "no" to rejection. Im trying my best to explain with my best knowledge.
Worst case scenario i have to have backup plans. Before apply Canada i have applied to number of scholarships (PHD) in USA,Australia,Denmark & New Zealand. So after 15 months i heard from one university and i got the scholarship. But i havent decided it yet. So after talking so many professionals i decided to try on both. If something goes wrong with the CIC i can continue my studies.
Thants why im throwing this query to you guys for me to have an idea.

Misrepresentation only occurs in effect when anyone misrepresents or hide facts which otherwise would have material effect on the outcome of the application. Trivial mistakes dont generally count as misrepresentation. Clarify everything in detail. You will be fine.
