I was in Canada twice. The first time I overstayed, and eventually left to my country on my own.
I returned to Canada on a study permit.
The next time CIC gave me a voluntary departure after I overstayed again
Does the voluntary departure order have any impact on me ever getting another temporary visa like a spousal work permit, study permit etc?

I would say that it likely does. Depending on why you overstayed (twice), it's impossible for me to assume that you would be denied a visa in future.

Now, CBSA can determine if/when a foreign national has overstayed:
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...tins-manuals/service-delivery/entry-exit.html

Overstay monitoring begins upon a traveller’s entry into Canada and ends upon their exit. If the client has overstayed their visit, CBSA will indicate this “overstay indicator”, and it will appear as a checked box in GCMS once queried.

Thank you. This is good information
