I am a full-time undergraduate in a DLI and I also work part-time (full-time in summer). However, due to the new RED alert in Quebec, Restaurants are shutting down, and as a result, I will be unemployed for a month at least.
I have checked the EI requirements and turns out I have a lot more hours than they asked for (due to working full time in summer). In this case, if I apply for EI, will there be any negative impacts on my study permit renewal or future document processings?
