Hi Experts,

Just curious, I have a CRS of 429 and working on getting 8 more points for my wife's education (WES - In progress) that will put me at 438. Let's assume if the next draw is 437 and I don't receive the WES evaluation by then. I update my profile (created in May 2018) in a couple of weeks to reflect 438? Will I receive an ITA?

Also, How good is is a 438 score keeping the latest draws in mind.

Cheers!

You will get an ITA post you update your EE profile only if you meet the next draw's cut off criteria. This year it has always stayed above 440 so far so you can understand how difficult it has been. If there is any other scope of improving your score then do it without waiting for it to fall below 440.

Which Degree is it, Bachelors or Masters? Bachelors is usually fairly straight fwd, Masters one is always tricky, a lot of times WES has evaluated Masters to Bachelors only.

If you are confident that it is Bachelors degree from a recognized institution then I would say claim the points for it. But once you receive the ITA you have to submit your ECA document along with degree and transcript as part of application submission
