I was an inland CEC applicant invited to apply in December 2023. After that, I got married, which put my application on hold until my spouse completed everything. However, we moved to the US in May 2024 for work (I moved from Canada and my wife moved from India), and now my spouse and I have been notified to send our passports to the VAC.
In the meantime, I also received a Portal 1 update email asking for my residential address and other details.
Any advice from those who have faced a similar situation would be greatly appreciated.

- Can we use a Canadian address once our visas are stamped?
- I have 7 days to respond to the email—should I wait until we get our passports back?
- Also, how long does it usually take to get passports back from IRCC after submitting them to the VAC in LA?
