Hi All,

I have few questions regarding FSW 2014. I am planning to send my docs to CIC end of nov only but before sending to them i want to clear my few doubts.

1) Do we have to send all passports ? Old and current both

2) Do we have to send all marksheets including secondary high school ? ( I mean 10th grade and 12th grade as I am from India)

3) Can we use paperclip for binding those documents and forms as they are many ? I can say around 70 pages.

4) I am unable to fit all pages in CIC mentioned envelope which 9" x 12" ... so what should I do ?

If anyone can answers above questions then it would be great for me.

Thanks in advance

Hi All,

I have few questions regarding FSW 2014. I am planning to send my docs to CIC end of nov only but before sending to them i want to clear my few doubts.

1) Do we have to send all passports ? Old and current both <-- Only current passports, make photocopies of your bio pages (photographs, names, dates, etc.)

2) Do we have to send all marksheets including secondary high school ? ( I mean 10th grade and 12th grade as I am from India)<-- Generally we do not send high school documents but I've read a lot of times people from India send marksheets and stuff instead of birth certificates as these documents indicate their DOB and parents names

3) Can we use paperclip for binding those documents and forms as they are many ? I can say around 70 pages.<-- Yes you may do it but it is not mandatory. CIC will remove and throw away all staples, clips and stickers as they use an in-line scanner

4) I am unable to fit all pages in CIC mentioned envelope which 9" x 12" ... so what should I do ?<-- It's nothing more than a general suggestion, just try to find a bit larger envelope or make one yourself:) Not a big deal really

If anyone can answers above questions then it would be great for me.

Thanks in advance
Cheers and good luck with your process!

Another suggestion: double-check that your forms are signed and dated, there are no blank sections where you forgot to put "Not applicable" and make photocopies or photos of all forms and supporting documents with your camera before you seal them in an envelope. This will make it easier to find some details and references in the future and it will also help you to avoid excessive anxiety about what you actually sent and whether you forgot something or not ;)
