Hi everyone,
I am an Indian citizen holding a bachelors degree in commerce from University of Delhi, India and am currently studying Masters in Accounting and Finance from Aston University, United Kingdom. I am also studying for the professional qualification ACCA and plan to finish the quaification by the end of 2016 (December). I also have 3 years of part time work experience in accounting in India, which ACCA body would accredit.

I wanted to ask if I would be eligible for applying for Canada immigration under FSWC by the end of 2016 or beginning of 2017, considering my educational background. Also, I wanted to ask if my masters degree from UK could be recognised as a professional qualification and therefore allow me to make an early application for Canada immigration (i.e. September 2016).

Looking forward to your replies.

Thanks.

Use this tool to calculate your score. If you get a score beyond 460 chances are good. If not you need to look at provinces for provincial nominee program and apply through that.

hi,
many thanks for your reply.
But i have not made any application for immigration and most importantly i am an indian citizen doing my masters degree from uk. i have also never taken the IELTS exam because I was exempted for the same for the UK study visa.
So, I am finding that link a little confusing. Based on the information I have provided to you, can you guide me if i stand a chance of being considered under the FSWC scheme. It would be great if you could guide me about it as I am a little confused at this point.

Thanks in advance.

For immigration to Canada, you have to take the IELTS, General test. It is a requirement.

From the link provided, do a preiminary calculation of the points you can amass to see if you are eligible. You ought to do the point check yourself as you have received assistance on where to get info on how to do it It would be great if you could guide me about it as I am a little confused at this point.

Thanks in advance.
