i have already applied for PR visa 2 years ago, and i have received an email from "biq.damas@midi.gouv.qc.ca", that my file is opened with an attachment
"Modele de lettre 000 INTIMM.pdf"

This PDF start with:
Le 16 Juin 2014
Monsieur Charbel El Khoury
Référence : réf. individuelle : DA0XXXXXX
Objet : Ouverture de votre dossier
Monsieur,
Nous avons bien reçu votre demande de Certificat de sélection du Québec ainsi que
votre paiement. Nous vous confirmons que votre dossier est maintenant ouvert.
etc......

but since then i didn't get any other email or updates.... is this normal or should i check something?

Hi Charbel,
its normal, they will contact you again if they need any other information, if everything is fine they will send the CSQ via post. you need to take in consideration that the time line to finalize an application (paper) for Quebec is quite long, i believe you will get something beginning of 2017.

Hi Charbel,

You should have received a letter with the same papers by mail. Always check your inbox/spam as sometimes they do get filtered into spam.

I received that same email and waited around 18 months until I got my appointment for an interview in May 2012.
Best way is to call MIDI on: 0015148649191 they will ask for your application number (you have that in the email) and they will answer any question you might have.

i am also from Lebanon.

i applied to get the CSQ on 27 Oct.2011 and this email received by you is the (Accuse de reception) which i receive it after one month from applying i waited since nov.2011 until June2015 they start requesting documents from me and i provided them updated documents many many documents and finally i got my CSQ on May.2016 and i applied for the visa and i did my medical test before two days and i expect to land within 6 to 8 months from now.

so your case is normal and this process is taking long time and i advise you to keep in touch with them to see the status of your CSQ.(call the MIDI always)

hi Charbel. I am lebanese too. I recieved similar email three years ago. One week ago I revieved an email that I am ready for visa. Its a long process but its worth it. Also you have to follow all the instructions and send the required documents promptly. You are on the right track. Stay tuned!

i am lebanese it happens very fast for me i just submitted my passport to VFS global here in KSA for visa stamping after 4 years 9 months.

my visa office is London and it is super Fast. i applied in July 2016 in jan.16 they requested my passport
