Immigration returned my application saying I should do the General English test

I did the IELTS General english test but they returned it that its not the one I did. Help me pls ??

Are you sure you did the General and not the Academic? Only the General test is accepted for immigration purposes.

Yes I am very sure. At the exam center they also confirmed it. The result that was sent to me said General on it too

Probably some confusion. General test is valid for immigration

The confirmation , if possible , should be in writing along with the IELTS result (duplicate copy)

Send a letter along with the refusal letter and application pack again

its mistake of CIC intake office........the same happened with me they returned my application that i did not attach job offer even i attached that ...........how an AEO applicant can send application without AEO approval......but they returned describing this.......so it wasted almost my 5 month........so they often do this...........
