Hello,

I am beginner in the Canadian Immigration Process and looking for answer to following questions. About me: Currently working as Finance Manager in one of the reputed firms in the US, Married ( housewife) and one three yr old daughter. Citizenship Indian.

1) I heard point based PR system in Canada is terminated. Please validate.
2) If I want to seek Candian PR only way would be to find job in Canada.. is this correct.
3)What is the timeline to obtain PR assuming I get employment in Canada and start working on work permit.
4) How long citizenship takes after getting PR.

1) Yes it will be resume early 2013
2) Yes you need job offer
3) at least One year
4) 1000 days
