I have few queries regarding immigration points.
1….I have done my education in India. After my high school (class 12th). I did a three- year diploma in Hotel Management and simultaneously 3 years of BA degree program thorough correspondence (also called distance education- with no classroom coaching). After these 2 graduations I did my 3 years of full time Law (LL.B). So I have total of 18 years of classroom education.
My question is will these 3 years of Bachelors of Law be considered as a Masters education or Bachelors? If it’s considered a Masters then I am entitled to 25 points and if Bachelors then I am entitled to 22 points.
2…..I have studied French in school for 5 years (from class 8th through class 12th) and during my 3 year Diploma in Hotel Management for another 3 years. That’s a total of 8 years of continuous formal study of French. But must admit that I don’t know much of this language...LOL…..except survival broken french and of course mark cerificates to back up my 8 years of French learning !!!
Should I consider points for my proficiency as a Basic Level of French or no level? The official CIC website states that “CIC officers will not interview you to assess your proficiency levels. Your submission must satisfy the officer that your language skills meet the benchmarks for the levels you are claiming.”
3…..I have been a yoga student for the past 10 years. For the past 5 years, I have been working as a full time free lancing yoga teacher, teaching both individuals and groups and for the past 2 years I have been conducting yoga workshops for the companies. However, only 2 months ago did I complete my formal teacher’s training program to get a valid certificate which is recognized by the World yoga alliance board. So what would be my points for the work experience? How do I prove my work experience for the last 5 years? I was not working for any yoga studio or fitness company or institution. It was only individuals, groups and for the past 2 years few companies.
Please suggest.
