Okay This is driving me nuts. :( How hard is it to make a picture smaller? Every place I have gone to or called has told me they only do passport photos. I live in the greater Houston area in Texas and my hubby lives in Ottawa, is there any place near or area either city that might do it?

Also what if I took the photo and photoshoped them or something, would that work?

Thanks for taking the time to answer my question. :)

Hi!

You can totally do them yourself. Take a picture with a white panel behind you and enough light, and then check out this website:

http://www.epassportphoto.com/

This is the way I printed my immigration photos, they turned out perfect!

Yeah, I'd try doing what bonbon9 suggested, or if possible, have them done in Canada. I'm planning on having mine taken in Canada, on my next visit, a week before we mail all the stuff in. I have more confidence in Canadian photography places than American. I've read horror stories about Sears and Walmart and other places either refusing to do them, or doing them, but somehow messing them up. At the same time, some people have had no problems, so I don't know. I just figure a Canadian will probably know how to best meet Canadian requirements. I hope my logic isn't flawed. ;)

I took all my photos at a self-serve photobooth in the mall. It was 8 pictures for 5 bucks and the dimensions are approximately 2" by 1.5" It worked out perfect for me!

Not sure where in Ottawa your hubby lives, but you can go to Black's Photography at the St-Laurent Shopping Centre 613-745-9710 (there is also one at Bayshore Shopping Centre (613) 829-6012 if he's more West, and one at Place D'Orleans (613) 837-4171 if he's more East). I think Costco may also be able to do them for MUCH cheaper if you or your hubby has a membership card. Try calling the one on Cyrville @ Innes 613-748-5973.

Hope this helps

Perfect! My hubby lives ten minutes (walking) from Place D'Orleans, so that works perfect. Thanks so much!
