Immigration lawyers give a different opinion.... Very important! Please help...

Hello everyone,
Hopefully, someone can help me with this.
I have asked several lawyers and every single one of them has a different opinion.
I am on a SOWP (ended on December 1st) before that, I applied for a work permit extension (without paystubs) and a visitor record at the same time( which was the advice one of the lawyers gave me). My wife just got a work offer and I will be uploading the paystubs as soon as she gets them.

However, visitor records take way much less processing time than WP extensions, so if it was approved before my WP extension, would that mean I have to stop working immediately?

Assume your spouse is applying for PGWP. You did not qualify to apply for SOWP without proof of NOc 0, A or B and 3 pay stubs. Did you apply without any paystubs? Proof that your spouse was working in NOC 0, A or B?

Yeah I have applied without them- as advised by the lawyer- to buy some more time for my wife to find a job and then upload the paystubs.
My wife already found a job and will be uplodaing the paystubs as soon as we have them.
My biggest concern now is the visitor record preventing me from working even though I have an implied status..

Any suggestions?

Your lawyer is playing games. You qualify for implied status under false pretenses since you applied for OWP without qualifying. Your lawyer essentially told you to file your application without being qualified to apply so chances are very good that your OWP will be denied.

Ditch the lawyer . Lawyers are supposed to follow the rules, not play games with them

Thank you guys for your responses. I will ditch them and look for someone else(for the second time ). But my concern is now my visitor visa being approved before I can find someone reliable. Could you please help me find an answer to my question regarding me stopping working immediately if it is approved while I am on implied status?

Find a good lawyer and ask them; it's unclear by my read of the regulations. If you are approved for a visitor extension and properly denied the OWP you must stop working.
