I' m thinking to consult an immigration lawyer to get some informations . I heard they make a file about you . What thas this mean ? Do they inform immigration or some other government institution that you consulted them ? How is it about the privacy of the information about you ?
I have nothing to hide , but I often come to Canada on a turist visa and I fear that , in the case I decide not to immigrate , if they know that I consulted an immigrations lawyer they could make it more difficult for me to enter the country ( given the numerous Canadian stamps on my passport they always send me to immigration at the airport ) .
Is there any way to get onest and good professional advice without getting a file ?
I thank all of you for reading this and hope in your help

No lawyers don't inform anyone, it is called solicitor-client privilege. Any lawyer is going to want basic information from you before they give discuss anything with you.

Thanks a lot , now I feel better and I know what to do .
One last question , what happens if I say something different to my lawyer than I will say to the visa officers about my application ? Can they control what I said to my lawyer ( in the case it' s not the lawyer that is working on my immigration , but only the one I consulted ) ?
