Hi Experts,
I and my wife, we both have Canada PR, but our baby was delivered in India in December last year (6 months ago). I got my PR 2 years ago but I could not move that time due to family & work reasons, but I moved to canada in ottawa 2 months ago on a permanent job.
Now, I am willing to sponsor my daughter for PR, and following the checklists available on CIC website. I need help in understanding:
1. Do I need an Immigration Lawyer or Consultant for doing the sponsorship process? Is it recommended?
2. If yes, who is better.. lawyer or consultant?
3. Do you know any good immigration lawyer / consultant who is reasonable?
4. If I follow the checklist for all documents, can I not file the case myself?
5. Once the PR is in process, can I try to get my daughter a tourist TRV visa so she can atleast come to canada and along with my wife? I tried applying her TRV before, but it got rejected 3 days ago saying need more satisfaction / justification on Family ties in Canada or India, and purpose of visit. Hence I decided to file the PR first and then try for TRV again, mentioning that her PR is in process, and I want her to visit canada and stay with me rather than staying away from me. Please advise if this might be possible, or any other recommendations?
Any other good suggestions or recommendation in order to get my processing done in a quicker way, or make my case stronger, will be highly appreciated.
thanks in advance!
