Does anyone have any experience with permanent residency fees getting refunded? I got a refund on my bank account for $230 from IRCC that was deposited yesterday. I forgot which one it was but upon researching, I think it was for my dependent child. She is a Canadian Citizen but I thought that I was supposed to include her in our pr application.
Now for the other question, does this mean that I have a chance of the pr getting approved? Am I in the clear? I didn’t get the Right of Permanent Residency Fee refunded (I paid upfront upon submitting our application). The ircc website mentions that they would refund the RPRF if they refuse the application or if I withdraw the application. I didn’t get the refund but I also haven’t gotten the approval. I only got PAL, BP and MP. If they refunded my daughter’s application fee, does that mean that I will be getting the pr too? Or am I just getting my hopes up?
