i and my consultant were agreed on a retainer agreement. as he was going to charge me 2000$ for documentation and filling ,2000 for ainp ,2000 for work permit .then ainp rules changed and i changed my mind too .i got married and we are applying on spousal sponsorship based application and work permit application at same time. so i want to terminate the contract. one line in contract says: if client change his mind or cancel the contact if has to pay full retainer fee.
contract does not say what retainer fees is and it uses a another name "professional fees" for total fee as we were agreed. so far i haven't took any services from him as lmo, work permit,or Ainp or documentation and already paid his 2000$ .

so now my question can i cancel the contract ,do i have to pay him more, can he take a legal action against me or this can affect on my application???
thanks

What you do with your contract is up to you. It does not affect your immigration/sponsorship/work permit application in any way.
