immigratin time estimation

Hi friends , i am an IT professonal from india & have applied for Canada PR immigration under skilled worker in may 2007, when do u think I'll get the call. I am still to appear in IELTS , is that fine??? , any idea about currently processing files? have they started doing 2007 files?

From some replies I have seen in the forums, you may have to wait for about 2 or 3 years, that is what the CHC is replying to messages sent to them.

thanks for reply.....one more question i have.....as i have applied on may 2007, now can i do modifications to my applications? like now if i want to go for arranged employment is that possible????

Yes offcourse. After applying first time, u should always keep your lines open with CHC and share updates in case change takes place from the one originally declared.

You can always get a HRSDC Approved job and update your file, else you can start a new application as the new applications are faster than the old ones. You can have multiple applications going at the same time.

Does that mean that the whole process of contracts, reference letters, etc police clearance certificates, degrees need to be repeated?
