Immigrate to Toronto after graduation?

Hi guys,
Here's the thing: I wanna study in college for 2 years, get a diploma, become a PR and then MAYBE study for 2 more years in order to get a bachelor degree.
I heard Humber college is pretty good and has transfer agreements with Ryerson, York and U of T which is great.
Now, if I study there for 2 years and get a diploma in Business Administration will I be eligible for the 'Post Graduate Visa'? and what does it take to become PR after getting this visa?

u can go ahead wid ur ur studies @ humber..the only thing is, it will be difficult for u to get ur immigration done in Ontario...since jobs related to ur course of study will not fall under the skilled category...n Ontario PNP sucks.. , so u will probably have to move to a different province..for ur immigration!!!

I actually had another option in mind.. I have 2 friends living in Winnipeg and they wanted me to move there.. I know it's a lot easier to immigrate to Manitoba plus Winnipeg is a lot cheaper than Toronto.
If I get a diploma from a college in Winnipeg will I be able to get a PR easily?

As long as u have canadian education...finding a job won't be difficult!!

Since u won't qualify as a skilled worker....so to qualify for P.R. will have to work for for some specific time @ ne of the above mentioned provinces n then apply for provincial nomination...u can find more information @http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/provincial/apply-who.asp

Hi,

If you study any post secondary level course, be it 1 year certificate, 2 years diploma, Bachelors, 1 or 2 years PG certificate/diploma, Masters or PHD.. any level you study, only in any of the recognized participating colleges/ Universities in PGWP(post graduate work permit) as per CIC, you will be eligible for a Post Graduate Work Permit.

After you do say a 2 years full time diploma, as per CIC rules, you 'll get a 3 years PGWP, and if you can find a skilled job and work for 1 year, then you can apply under CEC for PR, or alternatively you can opt for any of the PNP's, where if you work for 6 months (3 in case of Nova Scotia province) and depending upon the individual rules of the provinces, you can apply for PR.

At the moment, Sask. province has the easiest rules at place, to apply for PR under student stream PNP. You can hence, very well choose to do your diploma at one of the 2 recognized colleges of Sask. province, i.e SIAST and Parkland college.

However, unlike in Sask., where if you study any 1 year full time course anywhere in Canada, and then come and work in Sask. for 6 months and can apply for nomination, whereas in Manitoba, YOU MUST STUDY FROM AN INSTITUTION IN MANITOBA...and so Manitoba student PNP (even though may be similar to Sask. PNP), IS NOT OPEN TO STUDENTS FROM OTHER PROVINCES.

Ya. Under International Students Currently Working category.. students of other provinces are also eligible to apply provided they work for 6 months in a full time permanent job.

Ya, I saw only the priority assessment part, which is for students studying from a Manitoba institution.


Somehow missed the part at the end... which states:

Graduates from other provinces are welcome

If you completed a post-secondary educational program in another province of Canada you could still qualify for the MPNP if you are have been working in Manitoba for at least six months and have been offered a long-term, full-time job.

What is the difference between Saskatchewan and Manitoba PNP program for international students? I think it is almost same except that, in Saskatchewan PNP work experience of any type during study is also eligible for same province.

In that case you will not require to obtain study permit.
however you might require to obtain TRV.

mean everything is same for both duration's except permit which is given at POE?

If one gets study visa refusal from a country then , can he apply for study visa of other country just after refusal (in same week) or there must be time period to apply for other country?
