For specifying on relatives, would it be advisable to mention my spouse's First cousin (DAD's SISTER'S SON) who lives and resides in Canada?

Proof of relationship showing u, or your accompanying spouse/common-law partner has a close relative who lives in Canada and is a Canadian Citizen or PR. This close relative can be:
• parent, grandparent,
• child, grandchild,
• brother, sister,
• aunt, uncle, or
• niece, nephew.

Thanks for the info. It's very strange that cousins are not in the list. My cousins and my brother and I grew up together and it was almost as though growing up that we saw them (and I dare say they saw us as brothers and sisters rather than cousins). Maybe CIC has a different way of viewing what constitutes 'family' members.
Not for Express Entry or FSW, but it can sometimes be helpful in some PNP applications if you will do that.jessy_canada said:For specifying on relatives, would it be advisable to mention my spouse's First cousin (DAD's SISTER'S SON) who lives and resides in Canada?
For CRS, yes. For FSW eligibility points, work experience acquired only under 1 NOC (Primary NOC in MyCIC terminology) can be clubbed together.jessy_canada said:Thank you. After reading several posts and comments, really excited to get documents in place. One more thing, if anyone can answer, I am assuming whether Skill A or 0, only the number of work experience matters yes?
Yes, you will need both IELTS and ECA to be ready for your EE account to be created. As per the general trend, once the Express Entry account is created, if your CRS score is 400+, you may get an invite from OINP (PT Notification of Interest) within a week or two and you get 45 days to submit your documents as part of the OINP Application Package. You don't have to necessarily wait for the Express Entry account to be created to obtain the reference letters from your employers, if you feel that it may take time, you can start the process now it self.jessy_canada said:Thank you so much for reply on NOC. AT the moment, I am just beginning my process with WES, post which I will create an EE to understand what formats are required to attain experience letters from employer.
Question: For WES, does the notarised copies have to be valid for less than I year. I have done mine in 2014
No, for WES you cannot use the documents which you got notarized in 2014. The educational documents (certificates, transcripts/mark sheets) should be attested by the authority mentioned in the document checklist which gets generated post payment on WES site.jessy_canada said:Question: For WES, does the notarised copies have to be valid for less than I year. You can refer to the below format. This is in line with the requirement that has been mentioned in the OINP Application Guide (http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNP_EE_CAPITAL.html). You need to get this on company letter head.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for clarification. Let me get moving with WES. Unfortunately, my PG Diploma credentials have a small issue. I studied in the campus of Dubai from SPJAIN COLLEGE but certificate is issued by both Dubai and Mumbai. And this has no affiliation to any university, not a part of autonomous college...will ECA still evaluate the points for this. Plus point is that this EMBA is accredited by Association of MBAs.Stanlee said:No, for WES you cannot use the documents which you got notarized in 2014. According to WES, 'WES only accepts documents attested and sealed by the designated official at the institution that conducted the examination (e.g. Controller of Examination or Registrar's Offices). Attestations by individual professors or external notary publics will not be accepted.'
Post payment, download the Academic Records Request Form, fill up the relevant details and submit it to the university to release the documents along with duly signed Academic Records Request Form. These should be attested & dated and placed in an official sealed envelope that is signed or stamped across the back flap by the appropriate authentication officer at the university or autonomous college that conducted the examination. If the envelope has been opened or there is no stamp or signature across the back flap, the document will not be accepted by WES.
The University can either send the documents directly to WES or may give it to you to send to WES.
