Hi all,

Almost at the end of the immigration forms road.

Finalizing my wifes IMM5669 and had some questions:

Education History

1. For High School, under field of study, what should I put? General studies?
2. For Certificate and Diploma issued of High School, what should I put? I put high school diploma as thats all I can really fit. Technically the details were (per Texas education agency website): Distinguished Achievement High School Program--Advanced High School Program
3. We have gone up to post graduate education; she has also done some Pharmacy professional exams in Ontario, would those also be included under education history? Done at the same time as housewife status (see below).

Personal History
1. For the past few years my wife has been a homemaker - under job title what should I put? Unemployed?
2. In personal history, while in school for a few years, she also had a part time job for a few months. Do we enter that overlap?

Memberships
1. My wife was a member of a number of student and professional organizations during college etc. For activities/position held what would be an appropriate answer? Member?

Thanks in advance!

1. On the advice of another member's post, I wrote N/A for high school "field of study". General studies sounds fine too, I don't see it being a problem.

2. That should be fine, although someone else can also comment further.

3. Can you clarify a bit further? Was it part time?
I don't see how being a housewife makes a difference and you'd enter her educational period as normal (someone else can comment on this).

Personal history

1. If you slected "homemaker" as the activity type then write "N/A" for the title/position.

Just a question, were you living together for the time period you selected her as a "homemaker"?

2. I think overlapping is fine... Although I haven't tried it to see if the file will validate with overlapping dates.

Membership
1. If her position had no title then "member" sounds appropriate.

Education History

1. Thanks
2. Thanks
3. Yes it was part time, she studied on her own and then wrote professional exams. She also took a prep course. So not sure if it really counts as studies...reason i mention same time as housewife status, as I did not select student for any period of time.

Personal history
1. Thanks. Yes, we we were living together for that period
2. Ok, will do.
