Hi, I am 30 yrs(M) old. My sister has invited me and my mother(59) to visit to Canada. We both are applying for visitor's visa separately, as we both are employed and not dependant to each other. While filing IMM5645, should we tick on 'Will accompany you to Canada' against each other's name or not? The sponsorship letter is same for both of us, mentioning our names together in that.

Also, if visa gets approved for both of us, we may or may not travel together.

She is inviting you for a visit, not sponsoring you. You can answer NO because you are not dependants of each other and applying separately through different accounts.

Thanks for correcting and replying to me question.

One more question, to make my case strong (I am unmarried), I want to show some medical ground (knee problem), due to which she may need my support to travel around. How can I make that happen? How Visa Officer will get to know that I want to travel with her to support her physically.

She is on a government post, so her visa approval chances are great.

Who has knee problems? Your mother? That is not a reason to accompany her. If she needs to get on and off the plane, then she lets the airline know and they will arrange a wheelchair. You can get a pass to help her through security and then when your mother arrives in Canada, your sister is her support. So not a valid reason.
