we were married in Fiji on aug 23 and we stayed togethee till sep 12 and then i came back to canada...my wife is in fiji.

so do i answer that question as no
then do i explain that i had spent 2.5 weeks with her but had to come back to canada as i have a job here

also ques 1 says describe the circustances of your first meeting..but the issue is there is not much line to write..do i just give a brief description on the line provided and give details on a separate paper or do i just write everything on a separate paper

No, a 2.5 week visit is not living together.
Living together would be co-habitating in the same domicile continuously/ sharing the same address etc.

Since you are not living together you answer the questions as they are. on the 5532 form.
You answer no, and it specifically states "If no, tell why" So yes, you tell them why you don't live together currently.

Then it asks for all visits you have had (Q#4), this you can put in your 2.5 week stay as well as any other travelling to see each other by either of you.

Later in this form it asks about the marriage as well and who attended / who knows of the relationship etc.
Just be truthful.

As for needing more space::
If you need more room, attach a sheet of paper with the details you want to add, just make sure to label it with the form number and question number.

If you aren't living together you cant say you are..the answer would be no. I dont know the questions then asked about that situation as i am living with my partner but the application allows for that circumstance and just asks for a few different pieces of info.

Circumstances of your first meeting wise; if you can fit it in the lines provided do that. If you think it needs further explanation, use a separate sheet. (I have used a separate explanation sheet for a few of the forms either because i dont have enough space or i need to explain further).

What i have done is just written a few lines where they ask that question and i have said to refer to "our story" for a more information. "Our story" is a few pages worth of a word doc i have written to include in the application just explaining how we came to meet, how our relationship developed and grew and how we got to the point we are at now. It's a little cheesy and its embarrassing to read your love story written down like that but hey - if it helps right?! It isn't a requirement to write something like that but i felt it was useful for my application.
