Oddly, I am finding this form to be unnecessarily confusing. I am in the Philippines right now with my Applicant for Conjugal Visa , and I will be returning back to Canada on Sunday with everything signed so I can submit, so this question is of a timely manner.

So, from my Principle Applicants perspective, who should go on this form. Only her and her only son who is 16 years old will be coming. Anyone else who would come we would handle under a different application at a MUCH later date (in other words, its doubtful we would ever sponsor other family members).

a) In the spouse/commonlaw/conjugal partner section, should she be listing ME (the sponsor) as her Conjugal Partner with my status of "Divorced" (which it is), or should she be listing her EX to whom she has been separated from for 13 years?

b) Do I need to provide MY (the sponsors) daughter in section B. Shes born in Canada and lives in Canada. Does this answer change depending on the answer to A)?

c) Principle applicant has many brothers/sisters/half brothers/sisters. As mentioned, there is no intention for any to ever come to Canada. Several are married with kids, and have even migrated to other countries themselves. Still necessary to list EVERYONE?

a- Her name as Principal Applicant on second line your name as "Conjugal Partner" - Than Principal applicant parents
b - No only her son name will come in section B
c- Either they have intentions or not all siblings of Principal applicant need to be listed in section B

Good Luck

Thank you Sir! My God, I hope and pray everyone else who is sponsoring someone finds a reasonable person. My conjugal partner is fighting me on this 100%. She dosent like her half brothers and sisters (there are 5) and is basiclaly REFUSING to sign the paper. She says there is no need to include them (to spite the fact that the form CLEARLY says you MUST). Of course her sister who knows NOTHING about the process and has never seen the form is convinced of the same. Their reasoning is that if my conjugal partner dies they somehow think that this form will give the Canadian Government permission to give all her money to the half brothers and sisters.

Filling out these forms is not a fun task, but imagine doing it with someone who refuses to follow the directions. She calls me "hard headed" for not removing them from the form :| And they wonder why the processing times are so high. Sigh.

Explain to her that lying on a form is immigration fraud and can result in her being banned from Canada.
