In the box where they ask about te date I obtained either the PR or the citizenship, I called Service Canada to get the date that I can’t remember and there were two of them, the oath ceremony (December) and the citizenship certificate (November).
Any one with the same situation and what did you put please ?
Thanks.

Hi Wakki, did you miss finishing writing some parts in your message ?
I did read the question well and my understanding of their wording « more recent » is between the PR or citizenship no beteeen citizenship card and citizenship ceremony. I even asked the agent on the phone and he wasn’t sure, he said maybe add axolanatory letter. I kind you when I called Service Canada i pushed the option of inquiring qviiit citizenship not about sponsorship etc.

So yeah, I’m trying to fond someone who already experienced this and wrote something or the other and the application was accepted or returned ?

The effective date you became a Canadian citizen should be on your citizenship certificate.

What a citizenship certificate is
A citizenship certificate is a large commemorative document. It is the only document that gives new citizens a record of their certificate number and lists the date they became a citizen. It is presented to new citizens once they have taken the oath of citizenship.

Oath of Citizenship
Taking the Oath of Citizenship is the final legal requirement that grant applicants who are 14 years of age or older must meet in order to become Canadian citizens.

Wakki, i can’t find my certificate and that’s why I called Service Canada. Now note that in the dates the gave me; the certificate date is BEFORE the ceremony and that adds more confusion. And the agent did specify that sometimes it’s the case, they deliver it before the ceremony; I guess I have to try and find it and may I could see something else on it.
