IMM1344 and IMM5532 Signing - Changes in August 2022

Hello everyone, I have a question on signing procedure of IMM1344 and IMM5532. IRCC has made some updates in August 2022; the online portal page https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...ces/immigrate-canada/how-to-apply-online.html now directs to electronically sign these forms AND also do not print and scan these two docs. Can anyone share their latest experience and the procedure they followed to sign these forms? Apparently IMM1344 now allows to write names in the signature panel but the PDF of IMM 5532 doesn't have such flexibility. Thanks.

We typed our names in the signature fields for IMM 1344, and printed, signed by hand and scanned for IMM 5532 since we couldn't type our names in it.

We got AOR two weeks later no problem!
