I have a question regarding the IMM 1295 form "Application for Work Permit Made Outside of Canada", Languages (s) 1 d) "Have you taken a test from a designated testing agency to assess your proficiency in English or French?" YES or NO?
I'm currently in the process of applying for a temporary open work visa to Canada on a Working Holiday program and hoping to find seasonal resort work when I arrive. My native, and only language I know is English and I've completed the entirety of university and school in Australia.
I realise the IMM 1295 form is a general form and is used for various applications. So what I wanted to know was is f this question is relevant for me, or is it aimed at those applying for permanent residency, skilled work or those who are planning to study in Canada.
I've selected 'NO' simply because I've never sat such a test. If it is relevant for my particular application is there a way I could prove my English proficiency through my results from school and my university degree?
Thanks in advance for your help, much appreciated.
