I have applied PR sponsorship for my wife and waiting for it. But I'm not sure when it will be issued therefore decided to apply for TRV. When we answered the TRV questionnaire it asks if my wife has done IRCC medical exam in the last 12 months. Since we did a medical exam for PR 4 months ago, I answered "Yes" and now the portal is asking to submit IMM1017B upfront medical exam. For the PR we did not perform upfront medical exam, rather 1017E which is specific for the Permanent residency application requested by IRCC. From what I hear medical checkup is not required for TRV less than 6 months. Are they asking if a medical exam was performed in the last 12 months for TRV purposes? In this case I can answer "No". but if we need to answer "Yes" because a test was done for PR, I don't have 1017B which is what they ask in the Required form section. Can I submit the physician signed 1017E instead? But this won't have any medical results. It will just say a test was completed for this person.

Did anyone encounter this situation before? This is very confusing. any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
