IMM008 Dependents

Hi

I am a Canadian by birth and have two sons who are also Canadian citizens.
I am sponsoring my spouse in the outland Family class. My question is do i include myself and my two sons in the Dependents boxes. The question on Imm008 is very confusing and I quote :
'You must include your spouse , or common-law partner, if applicable and all of your children, and those of your spouse who are not already permanent residents or citizens of Canada.'

I had the exact same question and I was told that as long as you have either applied for proof of their citizenship or have proof of their citizenship they do not need to be included, only your spouse.
In my situation, I have just applied for proof of my sons Canadian citizenship and will have to write a letter stating that, I also have saved the copy of the receipt I got when I mailed it the other day and will attach that to the letter. CIC will then check the status to confirm it is processing.
