imm008 - csq number

Hi guys,

I am applying to sponsor my wife who lives outside of Canada under the spouse program and we intend to live in Quebec. In the form imm0008, question 6 asks if we have received the CSQ number? We don't have the CSQ number. Do we have to apply for CSQ? Or can we select NO and leave question 6c blank?

You have to leave it blank as you do not have a csq number yet.
I am not sure if u must apply now or only when they ask you to though. Either way you will not have the number yet. Everyone leaves that part blank

As said above leave it blank. You will receive further instructions form IRCC to apply for the CSQ
