hi Guys,

some questions on IMM0008ENU_2D-GenericApplicationForCanada form,

Background: my Wifes lives in india however is currently visiting me for duration of 5 months in Canada.

Question number 10 : Current Country of Residence - should I write Canada or India ?

Question Number 11 : if I choose india in question number 10 then question number 11 becomes grayed out which is asking for date of last entry to Canada.

NATIONAL IDENTITY DOCUMENT : my document is aadhar card from india which does not have an expiry date so should I keep issue date and expiry date blank?

ADD DEPENDENTS Section : My husdand is sponsoring me , he is a Canadian citizen, do I need to add his details in this section ?

please can you confirm folks ?

hi

I think you should answer the Canada current country of residence otherwise that would be the counted as misrepresentation they will know when you will give them the passport pages photo copies so do not take risk.

for Aadhar card yes only fill out the no and leave blank the expiry and issue date the same i did

Add dependent section is for if you have kids otherwise it is not applicable to you

HI Folks,

one follow up question:
1) what should I enter my wife's residential address as ? should it be Canadian address where she is currently visiting me ?
2) also in question number 10, what should I enter in the From and To section of Current Country of Residence, my wife will be here until Nov 6 which is when she will be travelling to india for her brothers wedding? so should I entere that date or something else.. here visa is multiple entry and is valid upto year 2021,
3) For Number of years of education, my wife has completed 16.5 years as her bachelor degree was of 4.5 years and the field in the form accepts only whole number, can you please advise how this should be managed?
