Hi there,
I am filling in the forms for CEC. The IMM0008 asks about a passport and a "national identity document". I have a passport of course, and that's all fine for my application. But I have never had anything like a "national identity document".
Is it OK to just say "No".
If not, what sort of document should I be using?

If you don't have a national ID, you can write "not applicable".

No, if you don't have a National ID card, you mark No and the section for the card grays out, and doesn't have to be filled in.

Thanks for pointing that out. I forgot about the "new" format. @OP, you got your answer. Goodluck with your application!
