On IMM0008 Generic Application Form there is a question in the signature block with two tick boxes below it:
"I agree that the information contained in this application related to my intended occupation, education and work experience may be shared with prospective employers in order to assist them in hiring workers.
[ ] No [ ] Yes"
Is is MANDATORY to agree and tick yes to have your application processed? Or can we say no to this?
The application guide simply says:
"Check the appropriate box to indicate if you agree that the information contained in this application related to your intended occupation, education and work experience may be shared with prospective employers in order to assist them in hiring workers."
I am tending to believe we can say no as otherwise the two choice boxes wouldn't be there and the statement would be there alone, with the signature underneath (as it is with the statement to share info with provincial authorities - which has no tick boxes). But I wouldn't want to have my application returned due to ticking no.
Anyone have an opinion?
