IMM0008 - Must we disclose UCI # from previous Visitor Visa applicat

Hey Everyone!

I have a question regarding the PERSONAL DETAILS section of IMM0008. In Box 3, it asks for UCI #. I have seen posts on the forum giving mixed reviews on this.

If we have applied for a Visitor Visa back in 2014 and it got rejected, will providing the UCI # make a different? Also, if we provide the UCI #, do we need to explain that we applied for the Visitors Visa back in 2014? It does not ask for the explanation so was curious.

There is a question that asks if you've ever been refused a visa, so it doesn't matter what you do. Either way they will know. Unless you lied or misrepresented on your visa application it should have no effect on your application. You are supposed to put in your UCI if you have one, but it's not a deal breaker.

I will just put the UCI and explain to where part of the forum that ask if i have been refused a visa. Better to tell the truth to be sure. Thank u so much for the big help!

You also have to be concerned about IMM 5669 - Schedule A - Background / Declaration ( Question Number 6, Letter D). You have to declare your previous visa refusal
