I am living outside of Canada and sponsoring my spouse under the family class. I have two (minor) children who were born outside of Canada. I have already applied for a Citizenship Certificate for both of my children and their applications are under processing. I am filling out the IMM0008 (Generic Application) form for my spouse. Could anyone please clarify the following:

1. How many family members are I supposed to mention?
2. Do I need to add any dependents or not as my children's applications are under processing. (in the guide it mentioned adding depends who are already not Citizens or Permanent Residents.)

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Don't add the children to this form. Add a sheet of paper and note children (names etc) are citizens. Attach copies of the applications you made for them.

You will need to include the children on other forms eg family info.

Thank you Armoured for your reply. But the children are not yet citizens right, still, you mean I no need to add them? (in the guide it mentioned add dependents who are already not Citizens or Permanent Residents.)

By Canadian law they are citizens, they just haven't received the proof of that yet. Call them presumed citizens (not an official term).
