IMM0008 dependant question

Sorry guys and gals if this is a dumb question but I like to be really thorough...

On the imm0008 general application, for my dependants, I have listed my son, who will remain here in the states with his mother. But do I also include my wife (the sponsor who is Canadian and lives in Canada) AND her two children (who also live with her in Canada)?

This would put my answer to question 3 on the application ("How many family members, including you, are included in this application") as 5 dependants, correct?

Again, sorry if this is a dumb question but I wasnt 100% sure if I needed to include them on the general application since they already reside in Canada.

For Spousal sponsorship......."How many family members, including you, are included in this application" = principal applicant + principal applicant dependents who are not Canadian citizens or PR in Canada (and does not include the sponsor and does not include the sponsor dependents who are Canadian citizens or PR in Canada)

You only have one dependent, your son. Your wife and her children are Canadian.
