I am applying for Pretoria South Africa and just want to find out if the form IMM 5562 - Travel info is required?

If visa office asked for it you have to submit. Usually it is sent to the applicant as an additional document request.

I am also applying via Pretoria, and yes it is required otherwise your application would be incomplete without it. If you did not travel, you just write NA but still send it.

But the region specific instructions that include South Africa state that 'If you are submitting your application to the Canadian visa office in Rabat, Supplementary Information – Your travels (IMM 5562) found at the end of this appendix.

I don't get it. You are applying via Pretoria, and you still have to fill in IMM 5562?

This is my problem as well. I'd normally assume it isn't required but don't want to take a chance, so I'll include it. it's only an 1hr of extra work and might save me a few days in processing time...
