Hi, well you answered the question yourself, your kids are there, just tell them l;ike you have here, Others that have experienced this situation, can give you more information.

Thank you Kevin. I do hope that my children will be sufficiant proof.

The kids are your best defense. If you have any conversations about moving back to Canada print them off,if you don't have any start now by email. Have some kind of letter from a friend or parent saying that you can stay with them until you are settled and have jobs. Find the location where you are going to settle and send email or make enquirers to how much the rent or lease is or price of houses anything to show intent.Have a look at job posting print them out.Write a letter saying how you have missed the kids and family that you have tried to settle but can not but how your husband will fit into the picture in Canada. Its a tough ?

I am currently working in US and sponsoring my spouse for PR.

I don't have my family in Canada so couldn't get anything like that. I wrote a letter explaining that I have savings that will help you settle down and will definitely get a job (even not a really good one) once I go back with a degree from the Ivies. I also explained that my temp work visa in US is going to expire soon so I have to go back to work. (which I am thinking about extending for a few more months now) I gave a timeline that I would look for a CA job starting in April and for a place in June. (plan had changed after so I'm staying a bit more in US until we actually get the visa)

Got my SA...so I THINK I got through that part...not sure if PR office will still look at my intention to go back

Thanks everyone. I appreciate the answers. Inthink i will defenitely follow the tips.
Wish me luck ;D
