Dear All.
Like most people here, I am new to the this forum and even newer to the headaches that surround the application for PR in Canada. However, I'm wondering if anyone out there has any advice for me when answering the following questions on IMM 5490 (questionnaire):
9. Describe how your relationship developed after you first contact/meeting.
20. Are you in a common-law relationship?
At the moment I find myself writing lots and lots - 3-4 pages for question 9 - and I'm already up to 2 pages for question 20.
My partner (Canadian Sponsor) and I (Brit) have been together in Korea since 2006, so at the end of our teaching contracts we go to Canada to visit her family and then the UK to visit my family, etc., as well as vacations together. So over the past 3 and a half years we've been on lots of trips/dates. So writing all this information down has left me with pages and pages of information.
Therefore, my question to you is, is there a standard format/layout for answering these questions? Or should I just stick with what I'm doing?
Thanks.
