IMM 5490 sponsor questionnaire

Quick question! The person being sponsored has to fill out this form...which in our case would be my german husband who can speak english well but has major difficulties in writing it! Should I just write it out for him and he copies it onto the form??? (I think if he wrote it in his own words the powers to be at the case processing center would have a laughing fit!)

Yea no issues. you can write it on behalf of your husband and send it to him for proofreading. I would just make sure that when you write, you write sentences from the Principal applicant's point of view (perspective) and not as a sponsor.

Make sure he knows what the answers are. It is unlikely that there will be an interview, but visa officers take a very dim view of people saying their answers differ from the form because they just signed it and didn't know what it said.
I would go over the questions with him, see what he wants to answer, then write that answer yourself.
