IMM 5482 qquestion

The guide states "Sponsors (guarantors) are presumed to be able to satisfy their undertaking if in the last 12 months they have had gross income from Canadian sources equal to the SUM of the amount shown in Table 1 and the amount in Table 2 below.".....does this mean I add the totals of the 2 tables.Myself,my wife and 2 children is $37650..then table 2 says "Additional Income Required by Sponsor to Meet Basic Needs of Sponsored Person and His/Her Family Members"....chart lists 3 differant amounts for those under 18 years old...$4133..$2865...$2151.Which amount d I use??

Mike this form is for Dependent children of a dependent that you are also sponsoring. Your wife's daughter also has a daughter your are sponsoring correct ? If not then you don't have to fill this form in . Don't know much else about this form .

Correct i should have said dependent child who has a dependent child .. not just daughter ..

Sorry I listed the incorrect form...it is IMM 1283 Financial Evaluation....I am sponsoring my wife,her child (step child of me) and our child.I have to list our child as he is part of my household exspenses.

Mike you don't have to fill either form ..
it is only for dependent children who have dependent children .. so neither the IMM1283 or the IMM5482 refers to you .
