IMM 5406 - Additional Family Info - Quick Question

I have 2 step brothers who I have no contact with and could not tell you there DOB or Address

How do I fill in the form? Is it acceptable just to put their name and Relationship?

Any help would be greatly received

Is it not possible not to mention them on the forms? CIC does this exercise to create your family tree in their system so in the future if your other family members want to apply for Canadian PR or want to claim points for Family in Canada, CIC has their data ready to hand. Another option might be to provide just the names of your step brothers but advise CIC in a personal statement that you dont know anything else about them beyond their names.

Try to give info as much you can, if some thing is missing, i advise you write one short cover letter with explanation, why you are unable to provide other required information.

I have another question in this form(IMM 5406 Additional family info).
I am a single and am going to immigrate to Canada by myself.

There is space about details of family members in IMM0008Generic, but because I am a single and have no child, I do not need to provid any information about my parents who will not immigrate to Canada.

However, there is space for infomation of Mother and Father in IMM5406(Additional Family Infomation).
Do I have to give information of my Parents and my Sister who will not immigrate to Canada too in IMM 5406?
