IMM 5009 ON ENTRY meaning?

Hi All,

I lost my IMM 5292, so I am filling IMM 5009 to apply verification of status. In the form IMM 5009, question 13 part A. It asks marital status ON ENTRY , what does ON ENTRY mean? I entered Canada as visa student at first time, but years later I landed and became PR. If you filled IMM 5009, which case did you use?

In my case. I entered as a student and I was not married at that time but when I'm filling up this form now, I'm married and my wife is a Canadian citizen. What shall I write IN Question number 13 of IMM5009. please reply soon.
