Maybe this is a really stupid question, but I'm in the thick of so much paperwork it seems confusing to me.
On the General Application to Canada form IMM008 it states under dependents:
"Remember that all questions in this section are about your dependant. You must include your spouse or common-law partner, if applicable, and all of your dependent children, and those of your spouse or common-law partner, who are not already permanent residents or Canadian citizens."
I am a Canadian citizen sponsoring my common law spouse from Australia. We both work in Canada and I have never lived outside Canada.
Does my partner list me as a dependent on this form? We do not have any children.
It seems wrong because as you go further into the dependent questions it asks for your common law partner, which would just be the principal applicant/my partner.
