Hello! So my husband has dual citizenship and we're not sure what to put on some of our forms.
He was born in Austria, to a French father and an Austrian mother, so he was granted dual citizenship from birth. He lived in France until he was 7 years old, then moved to Austria and has stayed there ever since.
His French passport is long, long expired. Like, the photo on there is from when he was 6, and he is now nearly 30. He hasn't lived in France since then and therefore had no reason to update the passport.
So my questions: Do we need to put that he is both a french and an austrian citizen on our forms somewhere? Do we need to include a photocopy of his french passport in our application, even though it is extraordinarily out of date and he is completely unrecognizable in it??
