IMM 0008 change!

Hey everyone,

I sent off my outland common law application to Mississauga on the 14th November. I was just browsing through the forum this evening and saw a few posts that mentioned the IMM 0008 form has been changed from the August 2014 version (that I used and sent) to a new November 2014 version.

What date specifically was the form changed and if for any reason I have sent the wrong version of the form, what should I do? Will CIC accept previous dated forms?

Starting to panic a bit

Hi there

I actually started worrying too as soon as I heard about this.But a member quoted on the forum that she had contacted a consultant about the new form and the consultant told her that you shouldn't worry IF the forms are signed before bcz this new form has been updated last week so I believe on Friday the 21st

So not fair haha.
I've been putting my docs together for the past 3 months and today when I sent the application in I realized that it had changed about 10 minutes after I got home from the post office..
Not nice!

Hmm We've worked hard plus we have to send the applications over the seas..But hopefully we'll be ok since we have signed the form before they released the new one

Don't be worry too much!
According to Aug app quoted on the forum CIC normally request a new form instead of return your whole package. Even some members said that the new form submit by fax is acceptable.

R u sure they can be faxed? If so was wondering have you tried.
